Biography of Pauline Ann Kretler
Ms. Kretler’s, majors in High School, was Art and Business, but is otherwise a self-taught artist. She knew she wanted to be an artist ever since she was in elementary school. She always enjoyed drawing and crafting and only started painting fine art when she moved to FL in 2002. She studied with several well know artist since then, and continues to learn all she can in fine arts.
She works in mixed media, and experimenting in all mediums including “one inch scale” miniatures. Since moving to Florida, she feels like she’s finally “Home” and where she’s meant to be.
Pauline has shown her work in many galleries. Gateway Center for the Arts, the Artisan Inn, Mt. Dora Art Shows, Casselberry’s City Hall and the Casselberry Art House. She’s also shown in DeBary Hall, DeBary City Hall, Wachovia Bank, Sanford Wecome Center and the Rose Gallery at Peabody in Daytona Beach. She won the “Peacha Wiggins Award” given by Sunniland Corp, in Sanford.
She’s an active board member in Gateway Center for the Arts league, Sanford Seminole Art Association, and Florida Women’s Art Association.
